WHY I DON'T POST

I keep on posting and posting on FaceBook, I tweet and tweet on Twitter and no one ever seems to want to retweet or reply to any tweet I send.

I find it extremely frustrating. You’ve written an award winning children’s book, “A Lesson My Cat Taught Me”. which teaches its young readers about the acceptance of others for who they are and not what they are, and apparently no one seems to be interested in getting it for a young reader, even the KINDLE Unlimited edition gets no traffic even though it's FREE.

Here’s the link to see the award this book has won, as well as the purchase links.

In order to hoping reach a new and different audience I’d love to have your support for my THUNDERCLAP campaign for my award winning children’s book:

This THUNDERCLAP ends on May 15, 2017

THANKS for generous support in this endeavor.

The thing is I've got two manuscripts for books which also attempt to teach a lesson in the same low key manner as this book. The first deals with self-confidence, and the second deals with friendship and bullying. I'd love to write a few more stories, but with things the way they are, I find I'm lacking the motivation to write anything.

So in closing I hope you have a wonderful week with everything and anything you find yourself working at, as I sit here waiting for someone to interact with on the internet.

I KNOW WHAT I SAID THE LAST TIME- - - AND I'M NOT GIVING UP !!!

BELIEVE ME !!!

I know what I said the last time I did an entry about my starting to promote my book again. And I did precisely that:

I went to an adoption event at a local no-kill shelter soon after I made my last post and said I would be donating $1.00 for every book I sold during the event. I wound up selling 14 books and donated $14.00 to the shelter. Given I must collect sales tax on every book sold.  I didn't want to be bogged down having to make coin change I simply added 5 cents,  rounding the price of the book to $ 7.00 which included of all of the tax due on the price of the book I had lowered it to.

Unfortunately, the press coverage I had hoped for didn't materialized so I could announce that I would be donating a portion of all the royalties I would be receiving to the shelter. At the same time I attempted to do a Thundeclap event but unfortunately I couldn't get enough supports for it.  I also failed in my Thunderclap attempt the following month as well.

No one seems to be interested in interviewing  me for their blogs or doing a SpotLight on me or my book. My tweets only get a small handful of Retweets.  And with all the talk shows on their summer hiatus I've got to wait until September to them to start taping their shows again.

The good news is someone just told me of a blog site which is for Indie Authors like myself and offers a free posting of books by independent authors once a month. All I have to do is to find the piece of paper I wrote it on.

For some reason I can't figure why no one seems to be interested in an award winning children's book [ages 5 - 8] which attempts to teach it's young readers about the acceptance  of others for who they are and not what they are.

If anyone is interested in know more about my book and the award it had won here's the direct link to the entry i made here

If anyone has any suggestion which can help me in my endeavors to promote my book I would appreciate know about it.

THANKS IN ADVANCE YOUR KIND ASSISTANCE IN THIS MATTER. ! ! !

I'M STARTING TO PROMOTE MY AWARD WINNING BOOK AGAIN

With things finally beginning to reach a state of normalcy in my family and with our tax returns finally submitted I've decided to once again start promoting my award winning book "A Lesson My Cat Taught Me."

And to start off my promotional activities Ill be doing a book signing at a local animal shelter and will be giving a portion each sale to the shelter at their adoption event.

Here's the link for information on the award my book won:

If you can't be at the event have no fear I'll be donating a portion of the royalties I receive from the sales of this book during the month of April on Amazon.  Links for both the paperback editions can be found in the above link for the reward the book had received.

MY THUNDERCLAP

In order to restart the promoting of my award winning children's book, "A Lesson My Cat Taught Me" I started a THUNDERCLAP and would appreciate any support you can give me in his endeavor.

The lesson my book communicates is the acceptances of others for who they are and not what they are.  This is an important lesson we need to teach our children about.

If you can, please support my THUNDERCLAP

I'M BACK

I know it's been a LONG LONG TIME since I've posted anything here but due my dear wife being hospitalized then going to REHAB, and then breaking her hip requiring a partial replacement and then more REHAB it's been about a year since I've felt up to doing anything in regards to promoting my awards winning children's book, or even trying to write anything.

Hopefully I'll be able to post things on a more regular basis going forwards.

Wishing everyone an extremely wonderful weekend with your families.

ANOTHER ATTEMPT FAILED

I finally converted my award winning children's book "A Lesson My Cat Taught Me" to a KINDLE Edition earlier this year reducing the paperback price of $6.95 to $2.99 for the KINDLE sales were to say DISMAL. For one week last week I had a KINDLE Countdown for it, reducing the price to a mere 99 cents, and to my disbelief I sold less than 10 copies at this low price.

With this failure I now giving away 10 autographed copies of my book with the award sticker attached to those on GoodReads.  As part of my description for the giveaway I've given links to the award I've won as well as information on the group connect with the award.

The award is open to the US only !!!

The lesson the book tries to convey is the acceptance of others for who they are and not what they are. While the book is geared for children between the ages of 5 – 8, it's enjoyable by readers of any age.
Here’s the information on the award my book received:  http://tinyurl.com/nrkprqe
A paperback edition is also available on the usual Amazon sites.
